
This week's Farmer's and Merchant's Bank "Banking on a Wildcat" goes to Abbie Boyd. Abbie's teacher's had this to say about her: "Abbie is a kind and compassionate individual. She is also willing to lend a helping hand to teachers and peers without being asked. She is polite and a pleasure to have in class. Abbie always looks to include others and make them feel at ease and welcome. She is an overall wonderful student to have in our school." Congratulations, Abbie!


Arnett 7th & 8th grade English students recently participated in the Delta Kappa Gamma essay contest. This year’s topic was, “What career or vocation do you see yourself having when you are an adult? Explain why you chose it and how you would prepare for it." From Mrs. Knowles's 8th grade class, Whitley Toy Stewart placed 1st and Jasmine Smith received Honorable Mention. Placing in Mrs. Burcham's 7th Grade Class was Levi Starkey-1st, Adante Smith-2nd, Bella Booth-3rd, and Josh Campbell-Honorable Mention. Shattuck 7th & 8th graders also participated in the essay contest with the winners reading their essays at an awards assembly followed by a reception.

It’s District Tournament week! 🏀🐾

Districts will be played at Arnett with the girls playing on Thursday (2/08/24) at 7:30 pm and the boys playing on Friday (2/09/24) at 7:30 pm. The District Championship games will be played on Saturday beginning at 6:00 pm. The boys and girls section of the brackets are posted below.

The Wildcats will take on the Mooreland Bearcats on Friday, February 2nd at 5:15 pm and the Lady Wildcats will battle the Leedey Bison in the Championship game on Saturday, February 3rd at 6:30 pm. All games will be played at Buffalo.
The 270 Conference Awards presentation will take place between the JH and HS Championship games on Saturday.

Tonight's high school basketball games and Senior Night have been rescheduled for Thursday, January 25. We will recognize the Seniors before the girls game at 6:30 p.m.


The registration form for the 50th Cadet Lawman Academy can be located and completed via the new website below. Required endorsement forms are also available for download on the website. Just a few reminders and details for this year’s academy:
When: June 2-8, 2024
Where: Connors State College
Who: Cadets must currently be in their junior year going into their senior year of high school.
What: Cadet Lawman is a *FREE* week long program that provides cadets with insight into a career in law enforcement.
Why: To learn more about OHP and to engage in experiences and activities related to OHP such as defensive driving, firearms safety and physical training. Cadets also develop friendships and gain mentors throughout the week that will last a lifetime.
