Attention all incoming 6th-12th grade athletes:
If you are still in town next week, we will have summer pride for both boys and girls starting at 8 am. This will be Monday - Wednesday (July 8,9, & 10). Go cats!

The OSSAA mandatory summertime dead period is June 29-July 7, 2024. All school athletic facilities will be closed during this time and there will be no communication between coaches and student athletes during this period.

Arnett JH student Bayne Strick is the OKJHSRA Saddle Bronc Champion! Bayne won the average in the Finals in Saddle Bronc, and made the State Finals Top 15. He won buckles in Ribbon Roping, with his sister Alexandra Strick as his running partner, Team Roping as a heeler, and Saddle Bronc Riding. The events Bayne participated in throughout the year were Saddle Bronc, Breakaway, Ribbon Roping, and Team Roping.
Alexandra made top 15 and won buckles at the State Finals in Ribbon Roping, with Bayne as her roper, Goat Tying, and Poles and won the average for two days in the Pole event. The events Alexandra participated in throughout the year were Breakaway, Ribbon Roping, Poles and Goat Tying.
Bayne also made Nationals in Des Moines, IA, in Saddle Bronc Riding. Congratulations and good luck to the Stricks. We are proud of you!

Our final Farmer's and Merchant's Bank "Banking on a Wildcat" goes to Allie Tune. Allie's teacher's had this to say about her: "Allie is a fun young lady who brings extra joy to the classroom, field, and court. She brightens up the hallway as she interacts with students and teachers. Allie encourages others, she works hard, and she is not afraid to try something new or help where needed, and always with a smile on her face." Congrats, Allie!
