This week's Farmer's and Merchant's Bank "Banking on a Wildcat" goes to Melisa McMurphy. Miss JoJo's fellow workers had this to say about her: "JoJo is the heartbeat of our elementary school. She loves our students as her own and she keeps us all in line! We love that we can call JoJo and she takes care of us. Watching her help the kids whether they are in elementary school or high school is truly rewarding as she makes everyone feel special. Arnett is proud to have her and thanks her for all of her hard work." Congratulations, Melisa!

Maggi's teacher's had this to say about her: "Maggi is a student that is quiet, but is one that is very loyal. It has been fun watching her be active in cheer and working with the little kids over the past couple years. This year, watching her grow into the young woman she is becoming has been fun as she makes her future decisions. Arnett is very happy to have Maggi and can't wait to see what she does in her future!" Congratulations, Maggi!

Congratulations to Kylie Garcia for being the Arnett Sr. Class recipient of the Ellis County High Plains Technology Center Scholarship. Thank you to the Friends of the Shattuck Public Library for awarding this generous scholarship in the amount of $1,000.

This week's Farmer's and Merchant's Bank "Banking on a Wildcat" goes to two of our students, Lara Gonzalez & Estrella Aguilar. The teacher's had this to say about them: "Lara and Estrella have been a great addition to our school this year. They have been active in many different clubs and organizations and have brought a fun and positive attitude. They can both be seen being kind to our little kids and they make everyone around them feel special. We have enjoyed the relationships we have made with them this year, they're awesome!" Congratulations, Estrella & Lara!

Landree Parsons was presented the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen award of Arnett High School by Roberta Chance for demonstrating the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. She also received a pin and $25. Congratulations, Landree!

Congratulations to both Arnett basketball teams for earning the Distinguished Academic Achievement Award from the OSSAA! This prestigious honor recognizes teams that maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA and rank in the top 10% of their classification. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence both on and off the court are truly inspiring! Keep up the great work!

Arnett music students had a great weekend at the Seiling Music Festival with all events earning a Superior rating from the judges! Congratulations to all and a huge thank you to Karen Miller for accompanying the choir and to Deryla Dorsey and Ginger Hennigh for working with the younger students! Participating students were: 5th & 6th Grade Choir; Kade Gaisford - vocal solo; Spencer Royal - vocal solo; Kade Gaisford & Spencer Royal - vocal duet; Addie Kincannon & Sterling Royal - vocal duet; Scarlett Royal & Dylan Watson - vocal duet; Kashyn Miller, Spencer Royal & Dylan Watson - vocal trio; Crislin Cooley & Adante Smith - brass duet; Derick Girton & Levi Starkey - woodwind duet; Kade Gaisford & Sloane Whitson - Ellis County Community Choir.

This week's Farmer's and Merchant's Bank "Banking on a Wildcat" goes to senior, Sean Sanchez. Sean had multiple votes and his teacher's had this to say about him: "Sean is always respectful of everyone and is willing to address any need the school may have. He is a very driven and hard working kid. Sean is my go to guy when I need help or something done and he is going to get it done right, he is extremely reliable. He can be spotted helping all of our younger and little kids often and makes them feel special. We are excited to see what he does in the future! Congratulations, Sean!

Prom details for this Saturday, April 5:
▪️5:15-Sophomore servers be at the little gym
🔸5:45- Jr. parents help fill plates for banquet
▪️6:00-Banquet & dinner begins
🔸7:45-Students line up in the basement for promenade
▪️8:00-Promenade begins in the little gym. Due to weather, there will be no introductions outside.
📸Mrs. McDonald will take individual and date photos. Mrs. Knowles will take pictures during the dance. All photos will be available to download for free.
▪️9:00-Dance begins with prizes being given out until midnight
(Students must be present to win.)
