Thursday night is the Arnett Elementary Christmas Program. It begins at 7 pm. 3rd thru 6th grade needs to be in the music room at 6:45; 1st & 2nd grade needs to be in their seats at 6:50; Pre-K & Kindergarten needs to be in their place by the west wall at 6:55. All students need to use the restroom before they go to their assigned spots. Pre-K & Kindergarten will sit with their parents after they perform.

This week's Farmer's and Merchant's Bank "Banking on a Wildcat" goes to Jozie Latta. Jozie was nominated by the teacher's and they had this to say about her: "Jozie is a tough young lady. Watching her take on any and every task with an " I can" attitude is extremely encouraging. She is so respectful to the teachers and always says Yes sir or Yes mam. Recently she was caught giving her reward for making a 100 on a test to another student who didn't get an award. That's the Wildcat mentality we try to get our student's to catch on to and it is so awesome to see!" Congratulations, Jozie!

This week's Farmer's and Merchant's Bank "Banking on a Wildcat" goes to our own staff member, Leslie Girton. The teacher's and student's had this to say about Miss Leslie: "Ms. Leslie has been a wonderful addition to our staff this year. She is willing to help anywhere and everywhere, anyone and everyone. She interacts with the students so well and is so helpful to them in the library. She has brought a sense of fun, consistency, and support to our library and media area. She is extremely helpful and treats the students with respect. She is always willing to have a conversation with students when they need it the most and she checks on them to make sure they are doing ok." Congratulations, Leslie!
Arnett FFA is hosting a Christmas Party! It will be hosted in the ag building from 5pm to 8pm open to ALL 8th through 12th graders. Supper will be provided along with chips, queso, a hot chocolate bar, and many other delicious snacks! We will have games, movies, an ugly Christmas sweater contest, and much more!
All elementary and junior high games are at Reydon today!
The sheriff's department has notified us that the inmate is back in custody.
At 1:12 p.m. the sheriff’s department alerted the school to an escaped inmate from the courthouse. We immediately locked the school down. At 1:22 the sheriff’s office gave the school the all clear and instructed us to return to normal school activities. We are being extra vigilant but wanted to make the parents aware of what is going on.
SCHEDULE CHANGE: the 3rd & 4th grade boys will play first at 4:30 today and girls immediately following in Shattuck's Old Gym.
