His work colleagues had this to say about him: "Mr. Long is a dedicated teacher to his subject area and to his students. He makes it his mission to not only educate his classes about history and geography, but also about going out into the world and being good, productive citizens. Mr. Long establishes a relationship with his students that he can have the fun, bantering talks with them, but also that he can have the harder, life lesson conversations with them. Mr. Long is an asset to our school and education system that we are very blessed to have." Congratulations, Jack!

This week's Farmer's and Merchant's Bank "Banking on a Wildcat" goes to Eli Coykendall. Eli's teachers had this to say about him: "Eli Coykendall is a well-rounded student giving of himself to many different areas in our school. He participates in athletics, FFA, BETA, and Band. He helps run the sound system for school programs and helps with media when needed. He has encouraged younger students to use their vocal talents as he has accompanied them on the National Anthem at basketball games. Eli always offers to help, and a lot of times is asked (begged) to help as it is not uncommon for him to have more knowledge than some of his teachers when it comes to technology." Congratulations, Eli!

Arnett hosted the Ellis County Career Fair this afternoon. A big thank you to all of the volunteers who spent their afternoon talking with students from Arnett and Shattuck!!
It was a great day!
