Coach Miller did an awesome job this year with Summer Pride! If you drove by the gym this summer around 8 am, you would see lots of cars and bikes rolling in full of students ready to get to work. It was awesome seeing how many students we had in attendance each and every day and how much everyone improved and lots of fun was had. Arnett athletes are truly LOCKED IN and ready for this next year. It's a great day to be a Wildcat!

Arnett Schools extends our best wishes to Nicki Broyles as she begins a new chapter after 28 years in education, including 15 years at Arnett Schools!

From teaching Pre-K and elementary music to incorporating a high school music and JH band program, Mrs. Broyles has poured countless hours into students and programs both inside and outside the classroom. Whether teaching instruments, leading band & choral performances, taking students to auditions on the weekends, running auditorium sound, or sharing her own musical talents in the community, her dedication has impacted many.

Thank you, Nicki, for the passion, talent, and heart you brought to Arnett. Your many years of service and commitment to students will not be forgotten. We wish you nothing but the best in this next season!

Congratulations to Larry Branstetter on his retirement after 26 years of custodial service to Arnett Schools!

For over two decades, Larry faithfully cared for the gym, cafeteria, Tech Ed, and Ag buildings with pride and dedication. At 87 years old, he could still be found mopping the cafeteria, taking out the trash, getting the mail, and raising and lowering the flag each day.

Larry’s consistency and care have left a lasting mark on our school. Thank you, Larry, for 26 years of dedication. You are an inspiration and will truly be missed!

Congratulations to Melisa McMurphy on her retirement after 10 years of service to Arnett Schools! From substitute teacher to Elementary Secretary for 4 years, Melisa (also affectionately referred to as JoJo) quickly became the heartbeat of the elementary building as she was organized, dependable, caring, and always willing to help. Whether managing the daily chaos of the office or going above and beyond for students, staff, and families, she did it all with kindness and a servant’s heart. Thank you, Melisa, for the extra hours and countless ways you made life better and easier for everyone around you. You will be greatly missed, and we wish you the very best in retirement!

Congratulations to Drew Miller, the 2025-2026 Arnett Teacher of the Year! In just his second year at Arnett, Coach Miller has made an incredible impact both inside and outside the classroom. His high expectations, preparation, work ethic, ability to motivate, and genuine care for students are evident every single day. Whether it’s teaching Oklahoma history with passion, preparing students for testing success, impeccable classroom management, covering responsibilities without fail, or helping wherever needed, he leads by example, and is very deserving of this honor.
