Monday and Tuesday we had Parent Teacher Conferences. A big thank you to the parents for meeting with the teachers. A big thank you as well to Arnett S.W.A.T for coordinating meals for teachers each night. It is greatly appreciated!
On Monday the High School Academic Team travelled to Beaver to compete in their District Tournament. They unfortunately lost all 3 games, but they get to advance to the Regional Tournament which will take place in November. They improved every game and they are ready to take on Regionals!
Tuesday morning Arnett BETA hosted their Fall with Friends event! PK-12th graders were each paired with a “friend” for the morning. On Tuesday morning each student ate breakfast with their “friends”. Then they went outside and went on a story walk together. BETA students created posters and hung them around the playground so that each pair of friends could go around the playground reading this story together. This is a wonderful event that all of the kids enjoy every time!
On top of that we had AR parties, FFA Greenhand Contest, and other classroom activities taking place. We hope everyone enjoyed their Fall Break and cannot wait to be back in school bright and early Monday morning!
