Principal Shannon Shoaf was caught reading to the 2nd grade class this week. Principle Shoaf brings a special reading buddy with her when she reads to classes. Stella, a registered therapy dog, loves reading with the Arnett students and they love when she visits.
Students participated in the school wide spelling bee on Wednesday, January 12. Those placing were Lola Coleman, Josh Campbell, Adante Smith and Eli Coykendall, Bristen Robertson, Lincoln Coleman. The county spelling bee will be January 20 at Fargo-Gage.
Fifteen 4th through 8th graders will be traveling to Laverne on January 24 to participate in Circle the State with Song. Mrs. Nicki Broyles has been working with these students after school for several months to prepare for the concert at 7pm.
The Arnett BETA Club is hosting an OBI blood drive on Wednesday, January 26 from 1pm to 5:30pm in the High School gym. It's a good idea to contact Ms. Jena Holloway to get on the schedule.
We'd like to congratulate our fabulous Music Teacher, Nicki Gaisford on her marriage! We will all be working hard to remember Mrs. Broyles instead of Ms. Gaisford.
