It was a full week at Arnett Public Schools as students participated in Red Ribbon Week, Halloween festivities, FFA presentations, an academic meet, an elementary basketball festival, and more. Along with the many activities taking place throughout the district, several students earned recognition for their accomplishments.

Eli Coykendall, Trinitee Walker, and Adante Smith represented Arnett at the WOCDA concert in Elk City. A special congratulations goes to Coykendall, who received his three-year high school medal and six-year trophy for being selected to WOCDA for six consecutive years. This is an impressive accomplishment and a reflection of his dedication to music over the years.

The Arnett Beta Club had an especially busy week, with 26 members traveling to Grapevine, Texas, to attend a Leadership Summit. While there, members qualified in five events for the National Beta Convention, which will be held in Fort Worth, Texas, in June 2027. This was a successful trip for the club, and members will now have the opportunity to represent Arnett at the national level.

In addition to attending the summit, the Beta Club organized and hosted Red Ribbon Week at Arnett Public Schools. This year's theme, "Make a Difference. Be a Hero. Stay Drug Free," encouraged students to make positive choices while participating in daily dress-up activities. The week began with Sports Heroes on Monday, followed by Superheroes on Tuesday, Everyday Heroes on Wednesday, Book, TV, and Music Heroes on Thursday, and Halloween Heroes on Friday. Students and staff participated throughout the week, bringing plenty of creativity to the school while promoting an important message.
