This year, the Halloween festivities will feature a few changes to the normal school-day routine. Instead of the usual afternoon activities, elementary students will gather in the high school gym at 2:30 p.m. to present Witches’ Brew: A Spooktacular Halloween Performance! Families are invited to attend and enjoy a special performance by Arnett's elementary students.
Another exciting addition to this year's celebration is the Spook Promenade, giving students a chance to show off their Halloween spirit! Following the performance, students will return to their classrooms for their Halloween parties.
Arnett Elementary looks forward to a fun-filled afternoon of spooky surprises, sweet treats, and wonderful memories! Parents and family members are encouraged to join us at 2:30 p.m. in the high school gym as we celebrate Halloween together!

Fall fun was in full swing as Arnett Elementary students in Pre-K through 3rd grade traveled to Kenny Farms in Woodward, Oklahoma, for their annual fall field trip! Students enjoyed a day away from the classroom, celebrating the season and making special memories with their classmates and teachers.
The field trip provided students with an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, experience the excitement of fall, and spend quality time with their friends. With plenty of smiles, laughter, and excitement, the trip was a wonderful way for some of Arnett's youngest Wildcats to celebrate the season!
Special trips like this are made possible through the generous support of our community! A couple of months ago, Arnett students participated in a cookie dough fundraiser, and the money raised helps provide these memorable experiences. Thanks to the hard work of our students and the generosity of everyone who purchased cookie dough, our elementary students are able to enjoy exciting opportunities outside the classroom.

Arnett students Cash Welty, Corbyn Brewster, and Wesley Wheeler recently attended the Area Soil Conservation Meeting in Fairview, Oklahoma, after earning first place in their respective divisions at the county level.
To qualify for the area competition, students had to win their division in their county. The area contest includes participants from 15 counties, making the competition especially competitive.
Wesley Wheeler received special recognition during the meeting, earning a medal for his second-place finish in the area poster contest. Students and guests were also treated to a lunch during the event.

The Arnett Booster Club recently hosted a basketball tournament for area fifth- and sixth-grade students, bringing together young athletes for some exciting competition. Both the Arnett boys' and girls' teams had a successful tournament, each bringing home third place! Both teams started strong with wins in their opening games, fell short in their second matchups, and bounced back with victories on Saturday to secure their third-place finishes.
The tournament was about more than just basketball. The Arnett Booster Club works tirelessly throughout the year to raise money that helps purchase equipment, supplies, and other necessities for our student-athletes. Organizing events like this tournament takes countless hours of planning, preparation, and hard work. Arnett Public Schools would like to extend a huge thank-you to the Booster Club members and volunteers for their dedication and continued support. Their efforts make a lasting difference for our athletes, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they do!
