A-Town TV has been busy getting ready for a new school year! Sophomores and seniors teamed up and traveled to businesses throughout the area to sell advertisements for the upcoming school year. Their hard work and dedication will help make another successful year of A-Town TV possible. We appreciate all of the local businesses that support our students and school!

⚡ 4th Grade Science: Energy in Action!
The fourth-grade students in Mrs. Ham's science class have been learning all about different types of energy, energy transfers, and energy transformations. Rather than just reading about energy, students have been getting hands-on experience through a variety of exciting labs.
One of their favorite activities involved building electrical circuits to light a light bulb. Students had to use what they had learned about electrical energy and circuits to figure out how to make their bulbs light. These hands-on activities have helped students see how energy works in the real world!

🕵️ A Mystery in Mrs. Wheeler's Classroom
Mrs. Wheeler's class took a trip back in time as they learned about the Croatoan Indian tribe. But this wasn't an ordinary history lesson!
Mrs. Wheeler transformed her classroom into a crime scene, challenging her students to investigate and solve the mystery of the missing tribe. Students worked as detectives, examining clues and using evidence to piece together what happened.
It was a creative and exciting way to bring history to life while encouraging students to think critically and work together.
🔎 Crime Scene Investigators
Students in Mr. McDonald's and Mrs. Burcham's classes also got the chance to put their investigative skills to work. The teachers worked together to set up several crime scenes for students to investigate.
Students had to carefully examine the evidence, discuss their findings, and use logical thinking to solve the crimes before them. This hands-on activity gave students an opportunity to practice observation, problem-solving, teamwork, and evidence-based reasoning—all while having a little fun!

🥎 Softball Wildcats Stay Busy
The Lady Wildcats had a busy week on the softball field.
On Monday, the Wildcats hosted Leedey in a close game that went into extra innings. After nine innings of play, Leedey came away with a 3-2 victory.
Tuesday brought another game against Waynoka, and the Wildcats came out swinging! The team defeated Waynoka 14-1.
On Thursday, the Wildcats faced Cheyenne-Reydon. The team fought hard but ultimately fell 15-3.
The Wildcats continue to work hard and look forward to their upcoming games!
⚾ Baseball Wildcats Bring Home a Big Win
The Baseball Wildcats also had a busy week.
On Monday, the Wildcats took on Leedey, falling to the Bison 13-2.
Tuesday was a different story as the Wildcats battled Sweetwater. The team had a huge offensive performance, defeating Sweetwater 22-1!
Friday was another successful day for the Wildcats bringing in another win against Fargo-Gage Ft. Supply.
