Another week is in the books at Arnett Public Schools! From classrooms to ball fields and everywhere in between, our Wildcats have been on the move.
It was another full week of baseball, softball, and after-school activities, but there was plenty of learning and fun happening during the school day as well. Our students continue to prove that there is never a dull moment in Wildcat Country!
Science classes were especially busy this week with some hands-on learning. Students put on their safety glasses and got to work exploring science in creative ways. Seventh graders used a mortar and pestle during their lesson, while eighth graders created anatomically correct flowers out of clay. Freshmen were also busy learning about forensic chemical reactions. It is always exciting to see students actively engaged in learning and having fun while doing it!

The Ag building was buzzing with activity, too, as students prepared for the upcoming Ice Cream Social. A little friendly, head-to-head competition made the preparations even more entertaining! It is great to see our students working together and taking part in activities that help make school events successful.

Our softball girls also hit the road to compete in the Beaver Festival. Before heading out, they wanted to give a special shout-out to our wonderful cafeteria ladies for packing lunches for the team. We appreciate the many people who work behind the scenes to take care of our students and help make busy activity days run a little more smoothly!

Arnett Elementary is also kicking off its fundraiser. The elementary holds a fundraiser every three years to help provide students with opportunities for special field trips and experiences. We appreciate the continued support of our families and community as they help make these opportunities possible for our students. https://needsyoursupport.org/share/W57C6

As we move further into the school year, schedules are filling up quickly, and our Wildcats are already making the most of the many opportunities available to them. Whether they are learning in the classroom, preparing for a school event, or representing Arnett on the field, we are proud of the enthusiasm and effort our students bring each day.
There is always something happening at Arnett Public Schools, and we wouldn't have it any other way! Keep up the great work, Wildcats!
