It was a historic week for the Arnett Senior Beta Club as members and sponsors recently traveled to Nashville, Tennessee, for the National Beta Convention. After months of hard work and preparation, the group returned home with its most successful National Convention performance to date.
Arnett students represented both their school and the state of Oklahoma with excellence, earning recognition in several highly competitive events. Their accomplishments included:
Champion – Scrapbook
Champion – Recyclable Art Division II (Lincoln Coleman)
3rd Place – Project Proposal (West)
5th Place – Service Learning Showcase
6th Place – All the World Is a Stage (West)
7th Place – Living Literature
Senior Abbie Boyd also earned an impressive 5th Place finish in Jewelry Division II. Having placed 9th in the nation two years ago, improving to the Top 5 during her senior year is an outstanding accomplishment and a testament to her continued dedication and talent.
Another milestone came when Lincoln Coleman was named National Champion in Recyclable Art Division II. This marks the first National Championship trophy ever earned by Arnett Beta Club, making it a truly historic moment for the school and community.
In addition to competing, students had the opportunity to explore Nashville and experience many of the city's attractions. The trip provided lifelong memories while allowing students to build friendships, represent their hometown with pride, and celebrate the rewards of their hard work.

Back home, younger Wildcats have been staying active as well. Forty-one elementary students participated in the Skills and Drills Basketball Camp, where they worked on the fundamentals of the game while having fun with teammates and coaches. The camp was a great opportunity for students to improve their skills and enjoy time in the gym during the summer months.

As a reminder for student-athletes and families, OSSAA Dead Week will be observed from June 27 through July 5. During this period, school athletic facilities are closed for organized team activities, allowing students, coaches, and families an opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved break before summer workouts resume.

Congratulations once again to our Senior Beta students and sponsors for an unforgettable National Convention. Their accomplishments have made Arnett proud and continue to demonstrate what Wildcats can achieve through hard work, creativity, leadership, and service.
