Summer activities continue to keep students learning, growing, and achieving at Arnett Public Schools.
In summer school this week, Mrs. Gaisford's Wee Wildcats spent time learning strategies to win games while having plenty of fun in the process. Through games and activities, students practiced critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills in an engaging environment.

On Tuesday evening, the high school book club gathered to discuss their first summer read, The Secret Life of Bees. Students enjoyed plenty of snacks while sharing their thoughts about the novel. The group also watched the movie adaptation and compared the differences between the film and the book. Mrs. Knowles led the discussion with thought-provoking questions that encouraged students to think deeply, reflect on themes, and grow as readers.

Arnett Public Schools would also like to remind patrons that the district has recently changed phone service providers and now has new phone numbers. Community members are encouraged to update their contact information to ensure they can easily reach school offices when needed.

In more exciting news, both the Arnett Senior Beta Club and Junior Beta Club have been recognized among Oklahoma's top service organizations. The clubs were recently named Top 5 Oklahoma Service Leaderboard Award recipients for the 2025-2026 school year.
The State Beta Service Leaderboard Award recognizes clubs that go above and beyond in their commitment to serving others. Arnett Senior Beta earned an impressive 3rd-place finish with a cumulative 899 logged service hours, while Arnett Junior Beta placed 4th with 398 club service hours.
These accomplishments are a testament to the character, leadership, and servant-hearted spirit of Arnett students. Whether through academics, extracurricular activities, reading, or community service, Wildcats continue to represent their school and community with pride.
