It was another exciting week for Arnett students as several groups showcased their hard work and achievements.
Members of the Junior and Senior Beta Clubs traveled to Norman on Monday and Tuesday to participate in the State Beta Convention. Their dedication and preparation truly paid off. The Junior Beta Club competed in 38 different events and brought home an impressive 35 plaques. The Senior Beta Club also had a strong showing, returning with 24 plaques. Their accomplishments are a testament to the time and effort students and sponsors put into preparing for the convention.

In the classroom, Mrs. Dearing’s 4th through 6th grade math students wrapped up an exciting “March Madness” finish to their NBA Math Hoops competition last week. Each Friday, students sharpened both their math skills and basketball strategy by playing the engaging NBA Math Hoops board game. Every class participated in a tournament that concluded on Wednesday, March 11, bringing plenty of excitement and friendly competition to the classroom.
Class winners will now be nominated for the opportunity to compete in the Regional Math Hoops Competition in Oklahoma City on April 7, 2026.

Meanwhile, spring sports are well underway at Arnett. Both baseball and slow pitch softball teams are in full swing as athletes continue their seasons.
With all of the recent activity, students and staff are now ready for a well-deserved break. Spring Break is upon us, and everyone can look forward to a week of rest, relaxation, and a little fun before returning for the final stretch of the school year.
