Busy Week for Arnett Students and Staff

It may have been a short school week, but it was certainly a busy one for students and staff at Arnett.

The week kicked off Monday afternoon as the school community gathered to send off the Lady Wildcats on their trip to Oklahoma City. The team headed to OKC for the night in preparation for their appearance in the State Basketball Tournament.

Tuesday morning started early for many Wildcat supporters. While a few people enjoyed sleeping in, others woke up extra early to make the 9:00 a.m. tip-off. A strong group of fans traveled to the OG&E Coliseum to cheer on the Lady Wildcats. It was an exciting game and a memorable experience for the team and the fans who came out to support them.

The school week wrapped up with a special event to celebrate Read Across America Week. During Breakfast with Buddies, older students were paired with younger students to spend time reading together. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for students to connect, encourage a love of reading, and build relationships across grade levels.
