In Mrs. Ham’s science class this past week, the 4th graders have been learning about the history of the Earth, the processes of weathering and erosion and how it changes rocks over time, and fossils. In class, they were able to see the processes happen in the lab and also make their own trace fossils at home.
The 5th graders have been studying our solar system. They made a 3D project at home and made paper mache planets in class.

Tuesday, the highschool teams traveled to Shattuck to take on the Indians. The girls took the first game. The Lady Wildcats were trailing most of the game, but at the end of the 4th quarter they battled back to take the lead. They came out on top winning 52-44. After the girls game, the boys had a tough match up with the Indians. It was a very physical game, but the Wildcats walked away with another 10 point win, 50-40.
The 270 Conf. games were held in Shattuck last week. Both the high school girls and boys teams played for 3rd place. The girls took on Laverne. The Lady Wildcats played tough and made the Tigers work hard, but unfortunately our girls lost 56-50. After the girls game, the boys played Fargo-Gage-Ft.Supply. The boys came out and worked hard. They ended up with a solid win 67-49 over FGFS.
