Wildcat News for week of December 28, 2025
For the week of December 15, 2025, the Farmer’s and Merchant’s Bank “Banking on a Wildcat” went to Mrs. Alison Royal. She was nominated by her co-workers and they had this to say about her: “Mrs. Royal has been one of the very best assets to our school in recent years. She is organized, creative, and deeply dedicated to her students and the school community. She consistently brings thoughtful ideas to the table and approaches challenges as a problem solver.” They had many other outstanding remarks but in closing stated, “Mrs. Royal’s professionalism, knowledge, and positive influence has made an impact on our students and staff!”. Congratulations Mrs. Royal!

The Grinch made his annual visit to Arnett Elementary on December 17, 2025. As usual, he caused plenty of playful mischief and discontent, but the students loved him just as much as they always do! Thank you to the Grinch for continuing this fun tradition and for visiting us each year.

4th graders love the Grinch.
The Arnett Elementary Christmas Play took place on December 18, 2025, featuring performances by students in Pre-K through sixth grade. Under the direction of music teacher Mrs. Broyles, students worked diligently to prepare for the event, which drew a packed audience of family and community members.
Students in second grade and below opened the program by performing a selection of festive Christmas songs. The evening concluded with a performance by students in grades three through six, who presented a Christmas play titled Elflandia. The annual event provided an enjoyable evening of holiday entertainment and continues to be a tradition that families and students look forward to each year.
