This week was another week full of excitement and celebrations at Arnett Public Schools!
Tuesday the Pre-K through 3rd grade classes enjoyed their Thanksgiving feasts. Each classroom came together to share a special meal, and every student brought a dish to contribute. The rooms were filled with smiles, full plates, and thankful hearts.

Tuesday evening was another great community filled evening. The Arnett FFA Labor Auction was held at the Arnett Christian Church. The Livestock boosters provided a delicious meal prior to the auction. Each FFA member was auctioned to provide labor to our community. There were also many other great items donated to the auction to raise money to help support our students.

Fire pits made by our Ag students Abbie Boyd, Kyson Messer, Bayne Strick, Ethan Gillis, Lincoln Coleman, Dayson West, Trenten Haney, Riccardo Catapano, Kayden Rumley, and Monty Wilson.
One Arnett student, Chonnipa Krustuwan, was recognized last week for her amazing artistic talent. She placed 1st in the OACD Area 1 Poster Contest, and her poster will now move on to the State contest. The state winner will be announced on March 3rd. Congratulations, Chonnipa, and good luck at State!

The Homecoming theme this year is TV Shows, and the dress-up days are sure to bring lots of fun:

Wednesday – Duck Dynasty Day: Hunter vs. prey—wear camo or animal print.
Thursday – One Tree Hill Day: Dress sporty or preppy.
Thursday the 5th/6th and Junior High basketball teams will play Vici at home. The 5th/6th games will begin at 4:30 with the JH following beginning at 6:30.
Friday – Friday Night Lights: Wear your class colors to show school spirit.
Friday there will be a Junior high girls and boys game beginning at 4:30. Homecoming coronation is scheduled for 6:00PM. Following coronation, the HS boys will play Sweetwater. There will be no girls game.
Finally, the Elementary Christmas Program is quickly approaching. It will be held on Thursday, December 18th at 7:00 PM in the high school auditorium. Families are invited to come enjoy an evening of holiday music and cheer.
It’s an exciting time to be a Wildcat!
