Wildcat Corner August 25th-31st

Another Great Week at Arnett Schools

Another great week has come to a close, and we are proud to celebrate the accomplishments of our students! The week ended with our Student of the Month Awards, recognizing Wildcats who have gone above and beyond in their efforts and behavior.

Third grade students reached an exciting milestone as they celebrated their first-ever behavior party, earning root beer floats for their positive choices and teamwork. First grade students had fun in math this week, working with pattern blocks. It’s always exciting to see young learners engage in less traditional, hands-on ways that make learning both meaningful and memorable.

Meanwhile, our junior high and high school students continue to show maturity and adaptability with the new statewide cell phone law. Since Arnett implemented a new cell phone policy in the second semester of the 2024–2025 school year, our students had already adjusted well. This made the transition smooth and natural.

The results have been refreshing to witness. Students are interacting with one another more than ever—playing games, having conversations, and filling the hallways with laughter and chatter during lunch. The change has created a positive, energetic environment, one that highlights the value of real connections over screen time.

It has been an encouraging and uplifting start to the year, and we look forward to many more weeks of learning, growth, and community at Arnett Schools.
