Wildcat Corner June 9th-15th

It’s been a relatively quiet week in the Arnett Wildcat community as summer begins to wind down. Nearly a month has passed since the end of the school year, and the final week of summer school is about to begin. Students and teachers alike are preparing to wrap up this season of learning before shifting gears toward summer travels and events.

Summer Pride continues to thrive. Last week was bustling with various sports camps, giving participants the chance to sharpen their skills, stay connected, and have some fun while doing it.

Meanwhile, our talented All-State girls represented Arnett with pride as they competed in both fast pitch and slow pitch games. Their dedication and athleticism continue to make the community proud.

Looking ahead, the upcoming week appears to be a calm one. A school board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. — a chance to touch base on ongoing plans and preparations for the coming school year.

Excitement is also building for the upcoming Senior Beta National Convention in Orlando, Florida. Students and sponsors will be making final preparations this week for their departure on the 21st. The trip promises to be a memorable opportunity for leadership, learning, and celebration on the national stage.

As the summer winds down, the Arnett Wildcats continue to stay active, focused, and full of Wildcat pride.
