Wildcat News for week of December 7, 2023

On Monday, November 27, 2023, there was no school but teachers met at noon for professional development.  After having the monthly district meeting, elementary teachers joined together for training on Renaissance Learning while high school teachers met to discuss their PL Focus.  The professional development days throughout the school year are always very informative and give the teachers a chance to come together and discuss new and innovative ideas.

Last week’s Farmers and Merchants Bank “Bankding on a Wildcat” went to Lola Coleman.  Lola’s teachers had this to say about her:  “She has an amazing work ethic and is so kind and respectful to others.  She is often caught with a smile on her face and is always willing to stop up and help anyone in need.”  Congratulations Lola!

The 6th graders started their business “The Wakeup Express” last week.  They are selling coffee and hot chocolate until Christmas Break.  If you would like to purchase some you may come to their classroom from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. during the school day.

That nasty Grinch visited the elementary school students on December 1, 2023.  He caused all kinds of mischief and the kids loved it.  Thanks to Mr. Royal for contacting the Grinch and inviting him to visit!

“Banking on a Wildcat” is Lola Coleman.
