Wildcat Corner

This week’s Farmers and Merchants Bank “Banking on a Wildcat” was awarded to Jentri Eastep. Her teachers had this to say about her: “Jentri is a kind, inclusive student. What you see is what you get every single day with Jentri. You can always depend on Jentri to reach out to those who need included, to say a kind word to someone passing by, to always speak when spoken to, and to show compassion. Jentri has a demeanor that makes others feel included and safe to be themselves. Jentri accepts everyone for who they are.” Congratulations Jentri!

The 6th Grade Class has been busy preparing for the "Wake Up Express." Wake Up Express is their very own coffee shop. This week they reenacted Shark Tank. Lisa Friesen, Rusty Royal, Teddy Miller, Allen Tune, and Brian Shoaf were the sharks. Students presented their business model and then asked for a $100 start-up loan for 20% of their company.  The sharks gave them three different offers, and they ended up going with the deal from Rusty Royal and Lisa Friesen.  The Arnett Farmers and Merchants Bank gave the students $100 to start their company in exchange the students will have to pay back 20% of their profits and deliver coffee to the bank once a week. The Wake Up Express will be up and running on November 28th.
