Arnett Public Schools is starting off the year with 149 students enrolled in PK-12th grade. The elementary enrollment is 89, which includes PK-6th grade. The JH/HS enrollment is 60 students for grades 7-12.

Arnett has added a few new classes to the schedule this year. Since the 7th/8th grade band was so successful in its debut last year, a high school band/music class taught by Mrs. Broyles is now an option this year for students to continue learning their instruments and music theory. Also added this year, Mrs. Shoaf is teaching Spanish I & II as our foreign language elective. The past several years, Spanish has only been offered through an online program. Art and shop class are options for all 7th grade students this year. Mrs. McCracken is teaching the art class, while Coach Tune instructs the shop class. Mrs. Knowles has introduced a new elective as well called Novels as Movies. In this class, students analyze cinematic adaptations of literary works while studying different techniques of storytelling.

The Arnett Lady Wildcats are the 2023 Panhandle Shootout Champs. Congrats to the Lady Cats on winning the Beaver Softball Tournament for the 4th year in a row! The high school baseball team is sitting at a record of 6-1 so far this fall.
